The STIHL RM 253.3 T petrol lawn mower is a self-propelled 51 cm machine built for gardens and lawns of up to 1800 m². Its EVC 205.0 four-stroke engine also powers the wheel drive, while clippings can be collected in the 55 L catcher box, mulched or discharged to the side.
Wheel drive at 3.5 km/h for slopes and long runs
The single-speed drive carries the machine's weight on sloping ground and across longer stretches of lawn. You steer the handlebar instead of pushing 32 kilograms of mower.
Four modes: mow, collect, mulch and side discharge
The multi-blade works with a mulching wedge that chops the clippings fine and returns them to the turf as natural feed. Side discharge handles tall or damp grass; the catcher box takes over for routine upkeep.
Central cutting height adjustment in 7 steps
A single lever sets all four wheels together across a 20 to 100 mm range, with no wheel-by-wheel fiddling. Low settings suit a manicured ornamental lawn, high ones an overgrown or uneven plot.
55 L catcher box and folding handlebar
The generous box volume means fewer stops to empty when you work through the whole garden. The handlebar folds for compact storage in a garage or shed and adjusts in height to the operator.
