The Einhell GE-CS 18 Li-Solo cordless chain sharpener brings standard chainsaw chains back to a clean cutting edge with a grinding wheel spinning at 6500 rpm. It runs on Power X-Change 18 V batteries, sold separately — the tool ships as a bare unit.

Angle scale for a repeatable cutting edge

Every tooth is ground at the same setting, keeping the chain cutting straight instead of pulling to one side. The clamping device locks the chain in place before each pass of the wheel.

Depth stop protects the tooth material

The stop halts the wheel before it removes more steel than necessary, so a chain survives noticeably more sharpening cycles. It is the feature that makes the job forgiving for a first-time user.

Cordless freedom with Power X-Change

Sharpening can happen right where the saw is working — in the yard, in the woods, on the trailer. Any Einhell 18 V Power X-Change battery fits and moves on to the rest of the range afterwards.
