The TRICOLUX ANTI TORSION 1" garden hose comes in a 25 m length and is built from five PVC layers with knitted polyester reinforcement inside. It suits garden and yard watering as well as pump-fed work at higher pressure, and the compound is free of phthalates and heavy metals.
Five-layer wall with knitted reinforcement
High-tenacity polyester yarn sits between the PVC layers and absorbs the twisting that normally folds a hose when you drag it around a corner. At 410 g per running metre the wall also springs back after being stepped on or pinched.
21 bar working pressure for pumps and high flow
The 1" (25 mm) bore moves a lot of water with little pressure drop, which pays off on long runs and when feeding sprinklers. The 25 m length covers a mid-sized yard from a single tap.
UV protection outside, anti-algae inside
The outer layer is stabilised against sunlight, so the coil can stay outdoors through the season. The inner wall carries an anti-algae additive that stops standing water from turning green inside the tube.
Compound free of phthalates and heavy metals
The PVC formulation leaves out DEHP-type plasticisers and heavy metal compounds. That matters when you water vegetable beds or fill containers in the yard.
