FISKARS 1027055 Tap Adapter 1" (G1", 33.3 mm), FiberComp
A tight link between garden hose and a 33.3 mm threaded tap.
The FISKARS 1027055 tap adapter connects a garden hose to a tap with a G1" (33.3 mm) thread. It is made of FiberComp, a glass fibre reinforced composite that stands up to frost and repeated fitting. The adapter screws straight onto the tap outlet as part of the FISKARS watering system.
FiberComp instead of ordinary plastic
The glass fibre reinforced composite is twice as durable as standard plastic fittings and resists cracking in the cold. The thread takes hand tightening season after season, including on an outdoor tap.
G1" (33.3 mm) thread for garden and wall taps
The fitting screws onto a 33.3 mm male thread, the size found on most garden standpipes and wall taps. A standard quick hose connector clicks onto the adapter.
Compact body weighing 10 g
At 42 x 68 x 40 mm the fitting also goes into tight valve boxes or behind a tap close to the wall. Fitting and removal are done by hand, with no tools.
