The Makita DUB185Z cordless blower runs on 18V LXT batteries and clears leaves, sawdust, dust and light debris with air speeds of up to 98 m/s. Supplied as a bare tool — no battery or charger — with the short blowing nozzle fitted.
Up to 3.2 m³/min airflow for fast clean-up
A wider air outlet moves a large volume of air with 3.1 N of blowing force — enough to sweep leaves off a path or blow dust off machinery and moulds. Motor speed reaches 18,000 rpm.
Three electronic speeds plus variable-speed trigger
Three preset speed steps combine with a variable trigger, so you can feather the airflow around flower beds or go full power on wet leaves. With a 5.0Ah battery, run time is 130 / 50 / 21 minutes depending on the step.
1.1 kg body and soft-grip handle for one-handed work
The compact body measures 517 mm with the nozzle fitted and sits securely in one hand while the other moves tools or bags. The rubberised grip softens vibration, rated at 2.5 m/s² or less.
86 dB(A) at the operator — suited to residential areas
Electric drive needs no petrol or oil, which allows use in gardens, parks and public spaces. There are no exhaust fumes and no seasonal engine servicing.
Works with all 18V LXT batteries and optional nozzles
The blower accepts every Makita 18V LXT lithium-ion battery, and the protection circuit cuts power when the pack runs low. Optional extras include the 123241-2 dust bag, the 43 cm 123246-2 nozzle and the 191G09-6 garden nozzle set.
