WEBER webertec D-PROTECT is a ready-to-use liquid waterproofing membrane (liquid rubber) for bathrooms, kitchens and wet rooms. It goes on easily with a brush, roller or machine and forms a seamless, joint-free membrane under tiles. It suits interior wet rooms of up to 6–7 m2.
Ready to use — no mixing
WEBER webertec D-PROTECT is single-component and ready straight from the bucket, with no water to mix in. Open it and start applying right away for faster work and no dosing mistakes.
Highly elastic membrane that bridges cracks
webertec D-PROTECT stretches by around 310%, so it bridges cracks in the substrate. The membrane follows the structure's movements and keeps the waterproofing intact over time.
For bathrooms, kitchens and wet rooms under tiles
webertec D-PROTECT is made for interior under-tile waterproofing in wet rooms up to 6–7 m2. Once cured, it gives a smooth base for bonding tiles with flexible adhesive. It is not for pools or permanently submerged surfaces.
Fast drying and low consumption
Consumption is about 1.25 kg/m2 per 1 mm dry coat, and drying between coats takes just 2–4 hours. webertec D-PROTECT is applied in at least two coats and is ready for tiling after 24 hours.
Part of a complete waterproofing system
For corners and joints, webertec D-PROTECT pairs with webertec max tape sealing tapes and webertec in/out corners, plus webertec collar pipe cuffs. Together with the webercol flex plus, flex pro and extra flex adhesives it forms a reliable wet-room system.
