Ready-to-use liquid waterproofing that dries fast so you can tile the same day.

SIKA Sikalastic-260 Stop Aqua is a ready-to-use, one-component liquid waterproofing membrane for wet rooms, based on a water-based synthetic resin. It forms a fully bonded, watertight coating under tiles in bathrooms and shower cabins. Supplied in a 7 kg plastic bucket, ready to apply straight away with no mixing.

Ultra-fast drying for same-day tiling

Sikalastic-260 Stop Aqua dries quickly — at +20 °C and 50% relative humidity the second coat goes on after about 60 minutes and tiling can start after roughly 90 minutes. That shortens downtime and speeds up any bathroom project.

Ready to use — no mixing required

This one-component membrane comes ready to apply straight from the bucket. It spreads easily with a trowel or roller, making it convenient for both professionals and DIY bathroom repairs.

Watertight, flexible membrane that bridges cracks

Sikalastic-260 Stop Aqua forms a seamless coating that withstands 150 kPa of positive water pressure for 7 days. Its elasticity bridges fine substrate cracks and protects tiles and grout from water ingress.

Bonds to concrete, screeds, gypsum and old tiles

The membrane can be applied over concrete and cement substrates, dry screeds, gypsum boards, gypsum plaster and existing ceramic tiles. That makes it suitable for new builds as well as bathroom renovations without demolition.

Low emissions for healthier indoor air

Sikalastic-260 Stop Aqua carries the GEV Emicode EC1plus rating for very low volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. The product is CE marked on the basis of European Technical Assessment ETA 22/0411.
