ISOMAT MULTIFILL-EPOXY THIXO Epoxy Grout, Light Grey, 3 kg
Chemically resistant grout for bathrooms, pools and pro kitchens that doubles as a floor tile adhesive.
ISOMAT MULTIFILL-EPOXY THIXO is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy grout in light grey, supplied in a 3 kg (A+B) pack. It fills horizontal and vertical joints from 1.5 to 10 mm wide and also works as an adhesive for floor tiles, classified R2 to EN 12004 and RG to EN 13888.
Resistant to acids, alkalis and salt water
Once cured, the grout withstands dilute acids, caustic soda, cleaning agents, chlorine and sea water without surface damage. That is why it is specified in breweries, abattoirs, dairies, laboratories and swimming pools. Water absorption after 240 min stays below 0.1 g, so dirt has nowhere to soak in.
Strength for heavy-traffic areas
Compressive strength exceeds 45 N/mm² and flexural strength 30 N/mm², with abrasion resistance under 250 mm³. The floor takes partial loads after 48 h and full service after 7 days at +23 °C, across a working range of -30 °C to +80 °C including regular hot-water washdowns.
Pre-measured mixing with a 45-minute working time
Component B comes packed inside component A at the exact 100:6.5 ratio by weight, so there is no site dosing. Blending takes about 5 minutes with a low-speed mixer at 300 rpm, and tiles are cleaned within the same 45-minute window using a damp firm sponge.
Thixotropic consistency for vertical joints
The consistency holds the material in wall joints without slumping, and reduced slip is part of the R2 classification to EN 12004. Shrinkage stays under 1.5 mm/m, keeping the joint flush, while the cured surface is approved for direct food contact per W-347, EPA 330.5 and EPA 110.2.
