Measures up to 40 m to ±1.5 mm and survives a 1.5 m drop onto concrete.
The BOSCH GLM 40-31 laser measure covers distances up to 40 m with a typical accuracy of ±1.5 mm and calculates area and volume right on the display. A hard internal skeleton and an outer rubber cage, plus IP65 protection against dust and water jets, keep it working on site. The pouch and two 1.5 V AA batteries are included.
IP65 housing, drop-tested to 1.5 m onto concrete
An internal hard skeleton absorbs impact while the surrounding rubber cage protects the edges and display in daily site use. The IP65 rating allows work in dust and rain.
Seven measuring modes with automatic area and volume calculation
Length, area and volume come out without manual arithmetic – handy when sizing flooring, paint or HVAC systems. The memory keeps the last 10 values for quick reference.
Colour display and one-handed keypad
Readings stay legible in dim rooms and the key layout is grasped without opening the manual. At 0.1 kg the tool sits in a work-trouser pocket all day.
Runs on two AA batteries or a Li-ion pack
Two 1.5 V AA batteries are supplied, and the model also accepts a Bosch Li-ion battery pack for uninterrupted work. The class 2 red beam becomes easier to spot in bright light with Bosch laser viewing glasses.
