The SKIL MT1E1960DA (1960 DA) laser level projects a 360° horizontal line around the room, a vertical line, or both as a cross. Automatic self-levelling aligns the lines for you, and the 20 m working range covers a room, hallway or an entire wall. It comes in a carrying bag with a USB charging cable.
360° line around the entire room
The SKIL 1960 DA wraps the room in one continuous horizontal line, so frames, cabinets, trim and sockets all land at the same height without transferring measurements. The vertical line and cross mode help with tiling, stud walls and shelving.
Automatic self-levelling in under 5 seconds
The laser levels itself and is ready in under 5 seconds, with no bubble-vial fiddling. If the tilt goes beyond range, the indicator prompts you to reposition the tool.
Manual mode for diagonal lines
Switching off the automatic mode turns the SKIL 1960 DA into a guide for sloped lines — handrails, staircases or angled decorative strips. A single switch changes mode.
Built-in Li-Ion battery with micro USB charging
The built-in lithium-ion battery of the SKIL 1960 DA charges from a plain micro USB cable, the same kind you use for a phone — no dedicated charger needed. A battery-level indicator shows what is left, and 10 hours of operating time covers a long day of work.
Compact body with carrying bag and 1/4" tripod thread
At 400 g and with a softgrip surface, the laser level is easy to handle and travels in the supplied protective bag. The 1/4" thread mounts it on any standard photo or construction tripod for work at the height you need.
