The STIHL FSA 50 cordless grass trimmer from the AK System is built for small lawns, finishing work and clean lawn edges. It arrives as a set with a 36 V / 2.0 Ah lithium-ion battery and charger, fitted with the AutoCut C 3-2 line mowing head.
90° rotating head for lawn edging
Switching from grass trimming to edging takes a few steps and no tools, while you keep a normal working posture. Cutting vertically leaves a crisp outline along paths, driveways and flower beds.
Adjustable limit stop protects plants and bark
The limit stop keeps the line away from trunks, fences and garden objects, and its flexible front section gives way when you need to work even closer. Fold it up when mowing open areas.
Constant power to the end of the charge
Intelligent electronics hold the speed steady as the battery drains instead of letting output fade. Mechanical power output is 0.30 kW, and the control handle lets you dial the speed down in light grass to stretch the run time per charge.
Adjustable shaft and loop handle to fit your height
Shaft length and loop-handle angle adjust without tools, and the mowing module tilts to 3 positions for working under benches and branches. Weight without battery is 2.9 kg, and the integrated hanging eyelet lets you store it on a wall.
Quiet operation at 69 dB(A) sound pressure
The electric motor runs with no exhaust fumes and none of the racket of a petrol machine, so you can trim in noise-sensitive areas and early in the day. Handle vibration levels are 1.6 m/s² and 0.9 m/s².
AK System compatibility and PolyCut 3-2 option
The AK 10 battery in the set also powers the other tools in the STIHL AK System, so a second machine can be bought bare. Besides the supplied AutoCut C 3-2, the trimmer accepts the PolyCut 3-2 plastic-blade head (accessory), which doubles the run time per charge.
