A trimmer for edges and tight spots that clicks into a compact push mower.

The EINHELL GE-CT 18/28 Li TC-Solo cordless lawn trimmer cuts a 28 cm swath with nylon line and ships with a trimmer cart that turns it into a small push mower with two cutting-height settings. It runs on the Power X-Change 18 V platform; battery and charger are sold separately and one 18 V battery is required.

Click-on cart turns the trimmer into a city mower

The cart attaches and detaches in seconds without tools. Cutting height is set in two stages between 35 mm and 55 mm, so small lawn patches between beds and paving get an even cut.

180° rotating head for edging and vertical cuts

The motor head locks in three tilt positions and rotates for clean edging along paths and kerbs. A sturdy metal flower guard keeps the line away from flower stems and young trees.

Aluminium telescopic shaft and adjustable auxiliary handle

The shaft adjusts steplessly to the user's height, while the soft-grip second handle slides along it for two-handed control. At 2.1 kg the trimmer stays steady during longer sessions along fences.

Fully automatic line feed, 5 m spool

The 1.6 mm line advances fully automatically and holds the working width without stopping to pull it out by hand. A spool with 5 m of line is included.

Power X-Change: one battery for the whole tool range

Any 18 V Power X-Change battery powers the trimmer and works across the rest of the range. Runtime scales with capacity: Einhell quotes up to 85 min per charge with a 4.0 Ah pack.
