The DEWALT DCMCS565P1-QW cordless chainsaw runs on the 18V XR platform and arrives complete with a 5.0 Ah battery and charger. Its 30 cm bar and 25 cm maximum cut handle pruning, tree shaping and cutting firewood, and the saw is rated for professional use.

Brushless motor delivering 7.6 m/s chain speed

At this chain speed the saw works through damp timber and harder branches without bogging down. The brushless build has no carbon brushes to replace and passes more of the battery's energy to the chain.

30 cm bar with 25 cm maximum cut

The compact bar keeps the weight close to your hands when working from a ladder or inside a dense crown. The cutting diameter covers garden trunks and firewood rounds.

18V XR 5.0 Ah battery and charger included

Chain tensioning with a wrench stored on the tool

Tensioning and chain changes are done with the supplied wrench, which has its own holder on the body so it does not get lost in the garden. Automatic lubrication feeds oil to the bar while you cut.
