A floating lid seats right above the wine level and cuts off air contact even when the tank is only part full.
The TMINOX MC 390 is a 390-litre AISI 304 stainless steel wine tank for fermenting and storing wine, made in Bulgaria. It arrives complete with floating lid, air chamber, hand pump, dust cover, breather valve, drain tap and stand. At 637 mm in diameter it fits narrow cellars, standing 1650 mm tall on its stand.
Floating lid with air chamber stops oxidation
The lid can be set at any height inside the tank and sealed by inflating its air chamber with the supplied pump. A half-full tank keeps as well as a full one, with no need to top up with reserve wine.
Mirror 2R interior for easy cleaning
Tartrate deposits lift off the polished inner wall without harsh scrubbing. The outside carries a 2M marbled finish that keeps its looks after years in the cellar.
Controlled fermentation with optional equipment
A heat-exchange panel for cooling or warming, a thermometer and horizontal or vertical draining cylinders are available for the tank. The KPP 610 perforated lid keeps the cap submerged for deeper extraction in red wines.
Serviceable with standard parts
The 3/4" drain tap mounts quickly, and the seals, breather valve and air chamber are catalogue items replaced individually. The powder-coated carbon steel stand raises the base to a comfortable pouring height.
