TMINOX МС КР 637/КРР 610 Perforated Floating Fermentation Lid, Ø610 mm, AISI 304 Stainless Steel

Holds the grape skins under the must from the first day of red-wine fermentation.

The TMINOX МС КР 637/КРР 610 perforated floating lid is add-on equipment for the МС 235, МС 315 and МС 390 stainless wine tanks. It rests on the must and keeps the cap of skins below the liquid, while the perforations let juice and carbon dioxide pass freely. Diameter is 610 mm and the material is AISI 304 stainless steel.

Submerged-cap fermentation for deeper reds

Grape skins naturally rise and dry out on the surface, oxidising and giving up less colour and tannin. The lid keeps them in contact with the must at all times, so extraction stays even without daily hand punch-downs.

AISI 304 stainless steel for wine contact

The alloy is inert to the acids in must and passes no taint to the wine. Its smooth surface washes down and sanitises quickly between batches.
