EINHELL TC-MD 50 Digital Detector for Metal, Wood and Live Wires
Locates steel and live wires up to 50 mm deep before the drill goes in.
The EINHELL TC-MD 50 digital detector finds three types of hidden elements in dry-built walls: ferrous metal, non-ferrous metal and live electrical wiring. Detection depth ranges from 19 mm for wooden studs up to 50 mm for steel and live cables, with an acoustic signal confirming each find.
Three materials, one detector
The detector distinguishes steel, copper and wooden studs, as well as live cables. A quick scan of plasterboard or plaster shows where it is safe to drill and where the installation runs.
Acoustic signal on detection
The tone sounds the moment the sensor passes over a hidden object, so there is no need to watch the display while sliding the unit along the wall. The soft-grip handle keeps it comfortable in one hand.
Rear protector pads keep walls unmarked
Pads on the back of the housing prevent marks and scratches on wallpaper or freshly painted surfaces. Automatic shut-off after one minute of inactivity preserves the 9 V battery.
0.340 kg for scanning on the move
The compact housing fits in a tool bag and is ready for checking several spots in a row when mounting shelves, TV brackets or wall cabinets. The unit is intended for non-professional use.
