The HD HD-10049 is a half-round garden parasol cut from a 270 cm circle, made for terraces, balconies and narrow spots along a wall or fence. The polyester canopy has a PU coating and UV50+ protection, while the pole and five ribs are steel. A base is not included.

Half-round shape for tight terraces and balconies

The canopy reaches 135 cm out from the wall, while the straight side keeps the walkway clear. The shape also works behind a table pushed up against a railing or facade.

The polyester repels water and stays out in a light shower. For prolonged rain the maker recommends refreshing the fabric with a waterproofing spray.

Double canopy for air circulation

The vent between the two layers lets hot air escape upward, so the shade stays fresh on still summer days. It also lets gusts pass through instead of pushing on the canopy.

Crank opening and tilt joint for angled shade

Turning the crank opens the parasol without wrestling the fabric by hand. The joint above the arm angles the canopy as the afternoon sun moves.

Steel frame with 5 ribs

Pole and ribs are steel, and at 5.950 kg the parasol is light enough for one person to fold and carry. The base is chosen separately to suit the spot.
