The Xiaomi Mijia Brushless Cordless Drill 2 is a compact drill/driver for home use, with a brushless motor, up to 50 Nm of torque, two speed ranges and USB Type-C charging. It ships ready to work with five drill bits, 20 screwdriver bits, a magnetic extension and an EVA storage case.

Brushless motor with a planetary gearbox

The planetary gearbox is made of high-carbon steel and is built for frequent drilling and driving under load. Peak torque reaches 50 Nm, and the high-speed range spins up to 1700 rpm. The 0–400 rpm low range handles screwdriving and precise starts when drilling.

32 torque levels plus an automatic mode

Levels 1–20 cover driving and removing screws, while 21–32 are set aside for drilling. In automatic mode a built-in chip adjusts the force itself and stops once the screw is seated, protecting both the screw head and the workpiece. The built-in display shows the current level, direction and battery status at a glance.

1900 mAh battery with USB Type-C charging

In Xiaomi's own tests, a full charge drives around 600 screws or drills up to 200 holes in pine board. Fast charging at 12 V / 2 A tops it up in about 2 hours. A charger and cable are not included; Xiaomi recommends a USB-C charger rated 30 W or higher.

Bits for wood, tile and brick included

The 8 mm multi-purpose bit handles wood, plastics, thin metal and light concrete. The 6 mm ceramic bit gets through tiles and red brick when kept cool with water. Three wood bits in 4, 6 and 8 mm complete the drilling set.
