The Makita DHP492RTJ 18V LXT cordless combi drill is a professional-grade tool for drilling and screwdriving in wood, metal and masonry. The kit ships with two 5.0 Ah batteries, a charger and a carry case, so you can get to work straight away. Its hammer action also lets you drill into concrete and brick up to 16 mm in diameter.
Brushless motor for longer life and more power
The brushless motor of the Makita DHP492RTJ runs with less friction, extending runtime per charge and cutting down on maintenance. Its maximum torque of 141 Nm handles large screws and deeper holes with ease. It is built for daily professional use.
Hammer action for drilling in masonry and concrete
In hammer mode the Makita DHP492RTJ drills up to 16 mm in masonry and concrete, and up to 13 mm in steel. The two-speed gearbox gives low revs for high torque and high revs for fast drilling. One tool therefore covers both screwdriving and drilling.
Compact and light for overhead work
At around 1.7 kg without the battery and 180 mm long, the Makita DHP492RTJ stays easy to control even on a ladder or scaffold. Its ergonomic grip reduces fatigue during long sessions. The 1.5–13 mm keyless chuck lets you swap bits quickly.
