The Bosch Power Plus PP002 (0 092 PP0 020) is a 12 V starter battery offering 54 Ah capacity and 540 A cold cranking current, built for cars without a Start/Stop system. With the positive terminal on the right (R+) and a 207 x 175 x 190 mm case, it fits a wide range of everyday passenger cars.
540 A cranking current for dependable starts
Bosch's grid design boosts starting current while keeping plate corrosion to a minimum. The 54 Ah capacity supports cars with higher electrical demand in any climate. Efficient charge acceptance keeps the battery topped up even on short city trips.
Fully maintenance-free for its entire life
The grid alloy and a labyrinth lid route vapours back into the cells, so there is never any need to top up fluid. A yearly check of the vehicle's charging system and battery voltage is all that's recommended.
Protection against vibration, leaks and ignition
The battery is engineered with safeguards against vibration, electrolyte leakage and ignition. The Power Plus line is classed as an original equipment (OE) spare part for the automotive industry.
Compatibility: cars without Start/Stop
This is a conventional starter battery and is not designed for Start/Stop vehicles, which require AGM or EFB technology. The positive terminal sits on the right (R+) and the case measures 207 x 175 x 190 mm, so check both against your battery tray. Up to 99% of the battery's materials are recovered and recycled.
