The HiKOKI G18DSL2-W5Z is a compact 18 V cordless angle grinder with a 125 mm disc for professional cutting and grinding of metal, stone and masonry. Running on a HiKOKI 18 V battery, it goes wherever a mains socket is missing — on site, up on scaffolding or in tight spots. It ships as a bare tool, without battery and charger, so you keep using the packs you already own.
125 mm disc for cutting and grinding metal and stone
The HiKOKI G18DSL2-W5Z takes standard 125 mm discs with a 22.23 mm bore and an M14 spindle thread. At 9000 rpm it delivers a fast, clean cut through metal profiles, pipes and concrete products. One grinder handles rough grinding, weld dressing and cutting to size.
Slim body for work in tight spaces
With a grip circumference of just 182 mm, the slim G18DSL2-W5Z sits comfortably in the hand for confident one-handed control. Its low gear cover reaches into tight corners and close to walls. The light weight cuts fatigue during long overhead sessions.
18 V HiKOKI battery platform — no cord
Cordless power frees the G18DSL2-W5Z from sockets and extension leads — work on a roof, on scaffolding or out in the field. It runs on HiKOKI 18 V Li-Ion batteries and comes without battery or charger. If you already own packs from the platform, you are ready to go with no extra outlay.
DC motor with replaceable carbon brushes
The HiKOKI G18DSL2-W5Z uses a fan-cooled DC motor with replaceable carbon brushes, keeping maintenance simple and extending tool life. A protection circuit watches battery load for steadier performance. A low-battery indicator tells you in good time when to swap the pack.
