The KORMORAN Snow 225/50 R17 98V XL is a winter tyre for passenger cars. It carries both the 3PMSF (three-peak mountain snowflake) and M+S markings, and its reinforced XL build supports up to 750 kg per tyre.
V-shaped tread for snow and slush
Numerous tread blocks and a high density of sipes create plenty of biting edges for packed snow. The directional pattern pushes snow and slush out of the contact patch when you pull away or brake.
Compound that stays supple in the cold
The rubber keeps its flexibility as temperatures drop, so grip holds up on cold mornings too. A new silica compound lowers rolling resistance.
Aquaplaning protection on wet roads
Tread channels clear water from the contact patch, helping prevent aquaplaning in melting snow and rain. On the EU label, wet grip is rated C and external rolling noise is 72 dB (class B).
Reinforced XL build with rim protector
Load index 98 rates each tyre for up to 750 kg, and speed rating V allows up to 240 km/h. A sidewall rim protector (FSL) helps shield the wheel from kerb scuffs when parking.
