V-shaped tread with dense sipes for grip on snow, slush and wet roads
The KORMORAN Snow 205/55 R16 winter tyre is built by TIGAR TIRES for passenger cars. Load index 91 means it carries up to 615 kg per tyre, and speed rating H covers speeds up to 210 km/h. The tyre is sold without a rim.
V-shaped tread for snow and slush
Numerous tread blocks with high sipe density bite into packed snow for traction when pulling away and braking. The Snow model carries the 3PMSF marking (three-peak mountain snowflake), certifying it for severe winter conditions.
Compound that stays supple in the cold
The rubber compound keeps its elasticity even in very low temperatures, so the tread continues to conform to icy tarmac. A new silica compound reduces rolling resistance for optimised fuel consumption.
Water evacuation against aquaplaning
An optimal number and density of grooves, combined with specially angled transverse channels, push water and slush out from under the contact patch. The tyre keeps contact with the road during thaw and rain.
