WURTH WELDO Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet, DIN 9–13
Auto-darkening in 0.00004 s keeps your eyes shielded the instant the arc strikes.
The WURTH WELDO is a solar-assisted auto-darkening welding helmet with a Li-Ion cell, built for stick, MIG/MAG and TIG work in workshops, garages and on site. Its filter reacts the moment the arc appears and adjusts across DIN 9–13 to match your current and process. A 98 x 43 mm viewing window keeps the joint and the workpiece in full view.
Auto-darkening in 0.00004 s
The WELDO filter switches from its DIN 4 light state to full shade in 0.00004 s — faster than the eye can react. You strike the arc without flash blindness and still see the workpiece clearly between passes through the light filter.
DIN 9–13 shade range with 5 darkening levels
Five darkening levels across DIN 9–13 cover everything from thin sheet at low amps to heavier stock at high current. Adjustable sensitivity lets you tune the WELDO for low-amperage TIG without the filter tripping on ambient light.
Two optical sensors and hybrid power supply
Two optical sensors watch the arc from different angles, so the WELDO still triggers reliably when you weld at an angle or in a confined spot. A photovoltaic panel supports the built-in Li-Ion cell, and the solar glass can be switched off to preserve charge in storage.
0.480 kg weight for all-day welding
At 0.480 kg the WELDO takes strain off your neck during long welding sessions and repeated flip-ups. A -5 to +55 °C operating range suits unheated workshops as well as outdoor jobs in summer heat.
