The BUGAWAY PreVent tick and mosquito repellent spray is a ready-to-use formula applied directly to exposed skin, authorised for general consumer use. The 100 ml bottle fits a pocket or backpack for hiking, camping, fishing and outdoor work.
Citriodiol active from eucalyptus oil
The active ingredient content is 30 g per 100 g of formula, obtained from Eucalyptus citriodora oil. Isopropyl alcohol and ethanol in the composition help the product dry quickly after rubbing in.
Up to 6 hours of protection per application
The repellent effect starts soon after rubbing in and covers both ticks and mosquitoes, including in high-risk areas. Duration depends on temperature, humidity and perspiration, and the treatment is repeated after swimming or heavy sweating.
Application to arms, legs, neck and face
Spray until the skin is moistened, then rub in thoroughly. For the face, dispense into the palm first and spread carefully, avoiding eyes and mouth. Do not apply to sunburnt or irritated skin, and wash the treated skin with soap and water afterwards.
Use on children over 6 months
The repellent is not used on children under 6 months. On small children it is applied by an adult only, once a day: spray onto the adult's palms and rub onto the child's skin. Never apply to a child's hands.
