The CARE 10W replacement lamp is the UV tube used in CARE electric insect killers. Fit it when the original tube burns out or its light fades, and the unit is back in service without replacing the whole device. The CARE EGO-03-20W runs on two of these 10 W lamps.
UV light that draws flying insects in
The tube emits ultraviolet light in the range mosquitoes and flies respond to, guiding them toward the unit's electric grid. UV output drops over time, so a new tube brings the device back to its original effectiveness.
