An aluminium frame you cut to your own opening and assemble without special tools.
The VEKTOR UYUT door insect screen kit 80x220 cm is a DIY system for openings up to 2200 mm high and 800 mm wide. The box holds the profiles, mesh, sealing cord, hinges, catch and handles, so the screen door is built and fitted on site in white (RAL 9016) with grey mesh.
Frame cut to your opening
The aluminium profiles are trimmed to the measured opening and joined into a rectangle with the four external corner pieces. One kit therefore covers terrace, veranda and entrance doors in any size up to 80 x 220 cm.
Cross bar keeps the leaf rigid
An 80 cm profile is fitted horizontally and locked with two plastic connectors. On a 220 cm leaf it takes the load off the mesh during daily opening and closing.
Mesh held by a rubber cord for easy replacement
The grey mesh is locked into the profile channel with a rubber cord, pressed home with the roller tool supplied. The cord comes with 30 to 35 cm spare, and the mesh can be pulled out and replaced without dismantling the frame.
Hinges, catch and handles included
Three plastic hinges, a snap catch and two handles come in white RAL 9016 together with the self-tapping screws. Handles sit on both sides of the leaf and the catch holds the door shut without a magnet or lock.
