The Windhager WH03612 TELESCOPE insect screen door curtain is a fibreglass slat curtain for balcony and patio doors with openings up to 120 x 250 cm. Telescopic PVC profiles adjust to the exact door width, and outside installation is done by taping or screwing, with scissors as the only tool required.

Telescopic profiles for openings from 78.5 to 120 cm

You set the width by extending the profiles, with no frame to build and no metal to cut. Openings up to 250 cm high are covered, and excess fabric is simply trimmed with scissors.

Four overlapping fibreglass panels

The mesh openings measure 1.5 x 1.2 mm to stop flies, mosquitoes and other insects, while the overlap leaves no gap in the middle. Weighting strips at the bottom keep the curtain taut and pull it back to the closed position.

Outside installation by taping or screwing, 17 mm depth

PVC clips fix the curtain to the door frame, either taped or screwed in place. The adhesive option suits rented flats, and at the end of the season the curtain comes off and stores away flat.

Washable, UV-resistant fabric

The black fibreglass mesh takes a full day of direct sun and keeps its shape after cleaning with water. The profiles come in anthracite RAL 7016.
