The WINDHAGER WH04535 insect screen door kit is a 100x210 cm framed screen door for single-leaf balcony and patio doors. It swings outwards, closes on its own, and every profile and the mesh can be cut down to your exact opening during assembly.

Closes itself after every pass

Special hinges return the leaf to the closed position and magnets hold it tight against the frame. Your hands stay free for trays and glasses on the way to the patio.

Full-length handle rail and kick plate

You can grip the leaf at whatever height suits you, while the aluminium plate at the bottom takes the pressure of a foot without stressing the mesh. The rail includes a grip tab for a firmer hold.

Fibreglass mesh 1.5 x 1.2 mm with a clear view out

The fabric stops both flying and crawling insects, and its dark shade keeps the view outside open. The mesh is UV-resistant and simply washes down with water.

16 mm installation depth fits under a roller shutter

The slim space requirement in front of the door allows fitting between roller shutter guides and the door frame. Three hinges screw to the outside, or a clamp frame (sold separately) mounts it without drilling into your joinery.

All parts shorten to your opening

This is a DIY kit: profiles and fabric are cut down to a clear opening of up to 95 x 206 cm. It suits flush and offset door frames, but not doors with a rain guard on the threshold.
