Aluminium frame you cut to your own window size, hinged and closing with a snap catch.
The VEKTOR NEW LINE window insect screen kit (item 245117) holds everything needed to build a hinged screen with an outer frame of up to 200 cm high and 100 cm wide. Profiles are aluminium in white RAL 9016, with hardware in the same colour. Mesh, rubber seal and fixings are included; you only add a tape measure, hacksaw, rubber mallet and screwdriver.
Frame cut to your own window
The 17x25 mm aluminium profiles are cut to length, so one kit covers a range of openings up to 200x100 cm. Six profiles are supplied, enough to add a middle divider on taller windows.
Four corner reinforcements for a rigid frame
The corner joints are backed by separate reinforcements that keep the frame square even at the full 200 cm height. A profile connector holds the divider, and 30 self-drilling countersunk screws sit flush in the profile.
Hinges and snap catch for an opening screen
Two hinges and a snap catch turn the frame into an outward-opening wing, while the inner handle is reached comfortably from the room. The screen can also be built as a fixed panel where no opening is needed.
Mesh with rubber seal and fitting roller
The mesh is pressed into the profile channel with 6 m of rubber seal, and the included roller beds it in evenly without ripples. The mesh can be taken out for washing and refitted.
