The WINDHAGER PLUS WH04564 window insect screen is a complete kit for building an aluminium frame with fibreglass mesh to fit your own window. The profiles are cut to size at home, and the finished frame hooks into the opening and lifts out for cleaning or winter storage.

Hook-in mounting without drilling, just 12 mm depth

Stainless steel springs grip the window sash, so the frame can be taken off and put back at any time. That makes it a practical choice for rented flats and for frames you do not want to drill into.

Profiles cut down to your window size

The kit covers a clear opening of up to 144 cm in height and 126 cm in width, with the surplus aluminium profile shortened using a hacksaw. The mesh is trimmed with a cutter once it has been tensioned.

Fibreglass mesh with 1.5 x 1.2 mm openings

The black fabric keeps the view outside clear and is tough enough not to stretch when tensioned. Sealing brushes run around the whole perimeter and close the gap between frame and window where crawling insects get in.

Washable and UV-resistant for season after season

The mesh rinses clean with water and does not fade in the sun. Grip tabs make lifting the frame out easy, while the matt anthracite profile has a slim 28 x 8 mm section that stays discreet on the window.
