The Windhager PLUS WH04563 is a complete DIY kit for an aluminium-framed insect screen sized up to 130x150 cm. The profiles are cut down to your exact window size and the finished frame hangs in place without drilling.

Drill-free mounting on the window frame

Stainless steel hanging springs hold the frame in place with an installation depth of just 12 mm. Nothing is screwed into the window, which makes it a safe choice for rented flats. Fabric grip tabs make hanging and removing the screen easy.

Fibreglass mesh with fine 1.5 x 1.2 mm openings

The tear-resistant, UV-stable fabric keeps the view outside clear thanks to its black colour. It can simply be washed down with water. Brush seals running around the frame close the gap to the window and stop crawling insects too.

Cut to your window size

The aluminium profiles are shortened with a hacksaw and joined with corner connectors, so the kit covers any clear opening up to 144 cm high and 126 cm wide. Assembly needs only standard tools: tape measure, hacksaw, mitre box, file, pliers, scissors, cutter and a rubber mallet.

Matt white RAL 9016 profile for standard windows

The aluminium is coated in matt white RAL 9016, matching common white PVC window frames. It fits windows without a weather bar, including flush-fitted and offset casements.
