SWISSINNO Wasp Trap with Natural Bait
Food-based bait plus water: no insecticide active substances involved.
The SWISSINNO wasp trap is a reusable plastic trap for outdoor use that lures wasps with a specially formulated food bait dissolved in water. It comes with the trap body, a bait sachet and a hanging hook, and the housing can be washed and used again.
Food bait instead of insecticide
A multi-component attractant draws wasps into the chamber, where they cannot escape and are retained in the liquid. Operation relies on no insecticide or rodenticide active substances.
Placement 5–10 m from the area you protect
Hang the trap in a tree or on a stake in a calm, sunny spot, or stand it on the ground. It suits yards, decks, patios, sheds and waste storage areas, and should stay at least 5 m from a known nest. If catches are low, move it.
Three steps to a working trap
Empty the bait sachet into the trap, top up with water to the fill line and swirl to mix. Keep the water at the line so that wasps entering the trap stay in the liquid.
Cleaning and re-baiting every 14–21 days
Service the trap in the evening when wasps are inactive: immerse the whole unit in warm soapy water and clean it for reuse. SWISSINNO offers replacement bait separately.
Catching queens in early spring
Queens emerge from hibernation on the first warm days in search of nesting sites. Set out at that time, the trap reduces the chance of a new nest being established on the property. For heavy wasp pressure or larger areas, use several traps.
