INFERNO Insecticidal Powder 50 g for Cockroaches, Ants and Wasps
Ready-to-use dust for cracks, crevices and nests, applied straight from the pack.
INFERNO insecticidal powder (item 142511) is a ready-to-use dust based on 0.25% cypermethrin, authorised against German and Oriental cockroaches, black garden ants (Lasius niger) and common wasps (Vespula germanica). Use it indoors in cracks and crevices, or outdoors on ant nests and as spot treatment around the building. Oriental cockroaches are expected to die within 4 hours of contact with a treated surface.
Reaches where sprays cannot
The dust settles in insect hiding places: behind and under the fridge, beneath the kitchen sink, under the oven or water heater, in every crack and crevice. The application rate is 8 g per square metre, and treatment is repeated no more than twice a year.
Measured dose for ant and wasp nests
For an outdoor black ant nest, apply 5 g in and around the entrance, splitting the dose if the nest has several openings. An indoor wasp nest takes 10 g placed into the entry hole at dusk or dawn while the wasps are inside; a single application can wipe out the whole colony.
0.25% cypermethrin with contact action
The active ingredient is a pyrethroid that kills insects on contact with the treated surface. The formulation is a dustable powder (DP), so there is no diluting or mixing with water.
Safe application rules
Place the dust only in areas out of reach of children and pets, and never on surfaces that are cleaned regularly. Cats are particularly sensitive to cypermethrin, so keep them away from treated spots and do not treat rooms with aquariums or terrariums. Cover any surfaces that come into contact with food before you start.
Cleaning after treatment
Remove residues by dry cleaning only, with a vacuum cleaner or broom, using damp paper where needed. Dispose of the collected material as solid waste, never down the drain.
