This solar panel bird spike (item 228360) runs along the edge of your PV modules and keeps birds and martens from getting underneath. Each segment measures 50 cm, so strips can be combined to match any array. The spikes are stainless steel on a clear polycarbonate base.
Stops nesting beneath the PV modules
Nests and droppings under an array cut output and can physically damage modules and wiring. Spiked edges leave no perch and no way into the cavity beneath the frame. The product holds a positive opinion from the Nature Conservation Department of Poland's Ministry of the Environment as a humane deterrent.
Stainless steel spikes on a UV-stable polycarbonate base
The 2 mm spike wires resist corrosion under constant rain and snow. The clear base withstands UV exposure and extreme weather, and stays visually discreet on a roofline.
Adjustable height up to 21 cm for different gaps
