WINDHAGER WH02413 Slug Trap, pack of 2
Beer-baited trapping that keeps pellets and chemicals out of your beds.
The WINDHAGER WH02413 slug trap is a classic beer trap for vegetable beds, flower borders and planters, supplied as a pack of two. It works with ordinary beer as bait and is sunk into the soil so only the perforated lid stays visible.
Trapping without chemicals in the bed
The smell of beer draws slugs through the openings in the lid and keeps them inside the container. Lettuce, strawberries and young seedlings stay protected without pellets or sprays, which matters in gardens with children and pets.
Sinks in level with the lid
Fill the container halfway with beer, add two teaspoons of salt and close the lid. Dig it in so only the lid protrudes: slugs then reach the liquid at the soil level along which they travel.
Two traps to cover more spots
The pack contains two traps, so you can position them at two different points in the garden, for example at either end of a bed. The plastic body is emptied, rinsed and refilled with beer as needed.
