Axial fan with automatic louver shutters that block backdraught and insects.
The VENTS 100 MA bathroom extract fan is an axial unit for continuous or intermittent ventilation of bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms. It fits a ventilation shaft or a 100 mm round duct. Housing and impeller are moulded from UV resistant ABS, with a sound pressure level of 34 dB(A) at 3 m.
Automatic shutters against backdraught and insects
With the fan off the louvers stay open; once it starts they close under the airflow. The shaft stays screened, so odours from neighbouring rooms do not travel back into the bathroom.
98 m³/h airflow at 18 W input power
The impeller spins at 2300 rpm at 50 Hz, drawing just 0.085 A. That flow rate turns over the air in a standard bathroom several times an hour and clears post-shower moisture.
Continuous-duty motor with thermal protection
A built-in thermal cut-out disconnects the supply under abnormal load. The motor needs no maintenance and tolerates ambient air from +1 °C to +40 °C.
IP24 rating for wet-room installation
The rating covers positions exposed to splashing water: above a bath, beside a shower enclosure or in a kitchen recess. At 0.65 kg it is easy to secure with the four supplied screws.
