Two metres of vinyl-coated braided steel cable, with a frame mount for carrying it along.
The YALE YCK0/12/200/2 keyed cable lock from the Essential Security range combines a 12 mm braided steel cable with a 2000 mm reach. That length is enough to loop the frame, the front wheel and a rack or post in one go. Two keys and a bike mount are included.
12 mm braided steel cable
The core is made of braided steel strands that resist cutting and sawing. A vinyl outer sleeve keeps the cable from marking paintwork and spokes when you cinch it tight.
Corrosion resistance verified over 96 hours of salt spray
The coating and mechanism are salt-spray tested, so the lock keeps working when the bike lives outdoors. The cylinder mechanism opens with either of the two supplied keys.
Frame mount included in the box
The supplied bracket clips onto the frame so the cable travels with the bike instead of taking up room in a bag. At 0.41 kg it is easy to carry every day.
