The YALE YCK0/10/60/2 is a keyed bike cable lock from the Essential Security range. Its 10 mm braided steel cable measures 600 mm, enough to loop the frame around a bike rack, railing or gate, and it ships with two keys.
10 mm braided steel cable
A braided steel core stands up to opportunistic grab-and-go attempts outside a shop or in the yard. The cable coils down small enough to drop into a backpack or bar bag.
Vinyl coating against rust and scratches
The black vinyl jacket shields the steel from moisture and keeps the cable from rubbing paintwork when you cinch it tight. Yale rates the lock at 96 hours of corrosion resistance.
Keyed locking with two keys supplied
A precision-cut key operates the cylinder, so there is no combination to memorise. Keep the spare at home or hand it to whoever else rides the bike.
