ISOMAT Polypropylene Fibers for Concrete and Cement Mixes, 0.6 kg

ISOMAT Polypropylene Fibers are modified polypropylene strands mixed straight into concrete or cement mortar. The 0.6 kg bag covers roughly 0.5–1 m³ of concrete at the recommended dosage and carries CE marking to EN 14889-2.
Plastic shrinkage cracks stopped while the concrete is still fresh
With 120 million filaments per kilogram, the fibers spread evenly through the mix and absorb the stresses of compaction, shrinkage and expansion. Bleeding towards the surface is reduced as well.
Higher impact and abrasion resistance for floors
Fiber-reinforced concrete takes impact and shattering better, and floor surfaces wear more slowly. In screeds the fibers improve elasticity and cohesion during placing.
For slabs, underfloor heating and shotcrete
Typical uses include large concrete slabs, precast elements and floors with in-floor heating, where deformation is expected. On inclined slabs they hold the mix together, and in shotcrete work they increase compaction and density.
Added straight into the mixer, no preparation needed
The fibers are dosed together with the other ingredients while batching. They do not replace the structural steel reinforcement of concrete.
