ISOMAT ADIPLAST is a liquid polymer latex added to the mixing water of screeds, renders and masonry mortars. The 1 kg pack suits home repairs and smaller areas, and the same material also works as a bonding primer on the substrate.
Bonding layer between old and new concrete
Fresh mortar grips hardened substrates reliably once they have been treated with the diluted latex. This is exactly where patched screeds and local render repairs usually fail.
Dosage into the mixing water to suit the job
The ADIPLAST : water ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:5 depending on how much improvement the mix needs. Mix the latex into the water first, then add it to the dry mortar.
Fewer drying shrinkage cracks
The admixture raises the flexibility of the cured mortar and limits the shrinkage behind hairline crazing on fresh renders. The treated mix also stays more workable, as it holds water longer.
Water impermeability and abrasion resistance
The latex cuts water permeability and increases resistance to wear from foot traffic and loads. The cured layer also copes better with chemical attack, including petroleum products.
