ISOMAT ADIFLEX-B Elastifying Admixture for Waterproofing, 1 kg
Acrylic emulsion that turns cement mortars into flexible, water-tight layers.
ISOMAT ADIFLEX-B is an elastomeric emulsion added to cement mortars, brushable waterproofing slurries, cement-based tile adhesives and water-based paints. Supplied in a 1 kg container, it replaces part of the mixing water in the dry mix.
Flexibility that bridges hairline cracks
Use the admixture with brushable slurries such as AQUAMAT when the substrate shows or is likely to develop hairline cracks. Full elastification takes 10 kg of emulsion per 25 kg bag; for lower flexibility, 5 kg plus roughly 4 l of water is enough.
Tiling on substrates that move
On substrates subject to expansion, contraction or vibration, ISOMAT AK-20 is mixed with 5.5 kg of the emulsion and 2–3 l of water per 25 kg bag, so the adhesive layer absorbs the movement instead of the tile letting go.
Substrate prep and working conditions
Clean the substrate of dust, oil and grease and dampen it without ponding. Porous surfaces such as aerated concrete, plasterboard and chipboard should be primed with UNI-PRIMER. Apply at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C.
