STANLEY Universal Hand Saw with Hardened Teeth, 450 mm, 7 TPI
Teeth that never need sharpening and a blade that tracks straight through timber, laminate and PVC.
The STANLEY universal hand saw pairs a 450 mm blade with a 7 TPI (teeth per inch) pitch for construction and DIY woodwork. Its induction-hardened teeth keep their cutting profile and are not designed to be re-sharpened. Article number 438900.
Hardened teeth, no sharpening required
The teeth are induction-hardened, holding their edge through repeated cuts in timber, laminate and PVC trim. Maintenance comes down to wiping the blade clean and storing it dry.
7 TPI pitch for fast progress
A coarser tooth removes more material per stroke, which suits ripping beams, battens and boards where speed matters more than a glass-smooth edge.
450 mm blade for a long, even stroke
At 450 mm the blade delivers a full stroke without constant repositioning, making it easier to hold the cut line across wide workpieces. A length like this works equally well on a bench or on site.
