The STIHL PR 16 folding pruning saw is a hand tool for fruit trees, shrubs and branches that secateurs can no longer handle. Its 16 cm blade cuts through branches up to 65 mm thick, and at just 160 g it rides in your pocket all day.
Three-sided Japanese teeth for a fast, clean cut
The teeth bite on the pull stroke, so less force is needed and the blade is far less likely to jam. The tapered blade profile keeps it from binding in fresh, sappy wood.
Impulse-hardened, chrome-plated blade
The hardened steel holds its edge over many seasons, while the chrome plating shrugs off the moisture and sap of green wood. The blade is replaceable, so the saw stays in service long term.
Two-component grip that folds shut for safe carrying
Rubber zones under the thumb and fingers keep the hand locked in place, even in gloves. With the blade tucked inside the handle, the saw travels safely up a ladder or into a tree.
