The STIHL PR 24 MEGACUT pruning saw is a fixed-blade hand saw with a 24 cm straight blade for cutting branches up to 8 cm in diameter. It is built for work at body level in fruit tree care, gardening and landscaping, and the chrome-plated blade is equally at home on construction sites. A belt holster is included and mounts on either side.
3-sided Japanese teeth cut fast and clean
The teeth bite with little effort and leave a smooth cut face, which matters for the health of the tree. The tapered blade profile reduces binding when you work deep into a limb.
Impulse-hardened chrome steel resists corrosion
Impulse hardening keeps the tooth edges sharp for a long service life without resharpening. The chrome plating protects the blade when cutting green wood and during storage in a garden shed.
Two-component handle and holster for left- and right-handed use
The two-material grip stays secure in the hand, gloves on or off. The holster mounts on the left or the right side of your belt, and at 305 g the saw is easy to carry through a full working day.
