COMPO Rhododendron Long-Term Fertiliser is a 0.85 kg pack of slow-release granules for rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas, heather and other acid-loving plants. The NPK 16+4+13 formula with magnesium and iron acts immediately and then feeds for up to four months. One pack covers roughly 17 m² of planting.
Slow release that lasts a full season
The granules feed in two stages: part of the nutrients becomes available at once, the rest moves into the soil step by step. This avoids both overfeeding and hungry gaps between applications.
NPK 16+4+13 with magnesium and iron for deep green foliage
The high potassium content strengthens plants against disease and drought. Magnesium, iron and trace elements keep leaf colour rich and flower colour intense.
For rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas and blueberries
The fertiliser suits every plant that prefers acid soil, including heather and fuchsias, plus berry bushes such as blueberries. Rates differ by crop: 100 g/m² for established rhododendrons before flowering and 70 g/m² for azaleas.
Application at planting and on established plants
When planting, mix the granules thoroughly into the soil before setting the plant. On established plants, spread and work them into the soil, or drop them into holes made with a pointed tool and close the holes again. Water the plants well after every application.
