The INTERMATEX TOSCANA ESAGONO mosaic measures 32.5 x 28.2 cm and consists of hexagon chips mounted on a mesh sheet. It is intended for indoor installation: bathrooms, shower areas, kitchen splashbacks or an accent wall in a hallway or living room. Made in Spain.
Hexagon format for an accent area
The hexagon chips continue from sheet to sheet without a visible seam, covering a whole wall or just a niche or a strip above the worktop. The mesh backing keeps the joints even, and the sheet can be cut with ordinary tile nippers along the lines between chips.
Installation with standard tile adhesive
Each sheet is bedded onto a levelled substrate with tile adhesive and then grouted with a standard grout. In bathrooms and shower areas use waterproof systems; the slim profile lets the mosaic align neatly with adjacent tiles.
Matte glazed porcelain surface
Glazed porcelain does not absorb water and is maintained with the usual bathroom cleaners. The matte finish hides water spots and fingerprints far better than a gloss surface.
