INTERMATEX ATLANTIS OCEAN is a glazed porcelain mosaic sheet measuring 30.2 x 29.4 cm, made in Spain for indoor wall installations. The mesh backing lets you set full sheets quickly and trim them with scissors around a worktop, niche or mirror. It is rated for wet areas, so bathroom walls and splashbacks are well within its scope.
Reactive crackle glaze with living depth
The surface is polished and finished with a reactive glaze that develops a fine network of crazing in the glassy layer. Because of the process, shade and pattern vary slightly from sheet to sheet, giving the finished wall a handmade character.
9 mm porcelain body for wet areas
The body is porcelain, so it absorbs very little water and stays stable in bathrooms and kitchens. The manufacturer recommends sealing the surface in wet areas and before grouting with dark-coloured grout.
Wall use indoors only
The item is classified for interior wall cladding. It is not intended for floors, outdoor surfaces or swimming pools, which also guides adhesive choice: a cement-based wall tile adhesive is the right match.
