KRONO Sundance Oak
The KRONO ORIGINAL K326 Sundance Oak acoustic panel is a decorative slat wall element measuring 2600 x 600 mm, built from MDF lamellas bonded to a felt backing. One panel covers 1.56 m² of wall and is fixed with adhesive and screws through the felt. The Sundance Oak decor brings a warm beige wood tone.
Felt backing that absorbs reflected sound
The slatted structure cuts reverberation in rooms with hard floors and large glazed areas, where speech and TV sound echo. The panel also works as an extra insulating layer on the wall.
9 mm MDF slats on an 8 mm polyester base
The lamella faces carry a melamine wood-decor finish that resists stains and sunlight fading. Cleaning takes nothing more than a well wrung damp cloth.
Installation with adhesive and screws through the felt
Mounted directly to the wall, the maker recommends roughly 18 screws per panel; on a batten frame of 45 mm laths spaced 500 mm apart with mineral wool between them, absorption is at its best. Panels butt tightly together and the joint stays invisible.
2600 mm height for a wall without cross joints
The length reaches from floor to ceiling in a typical home and the panel is easily cut to the height you need. Offcuts can be carried over to the next section of the wall.
