Beige reconstituted stone rated A1 for fire reaction, for facades, fences and indoor accent walls.
MODULO NOMAD CREAM is a beige reconstituted stone wall cladding with a textured surface, made in Romania. It works indoors as well as on exterior walls, fences and plinth areas. One pack holds 20 tiles of 37 x 10 cm and covers 0.72 m².
37 x 10 cm format for tight running-bond layout
The tiles butt directly against one another, plate on plate, with no joint between the courses. Thickness varies from 1 to 2 cm, which gives the surface its natural play of light and shadow. Cutting is done with an angle grinder and a diamond blade.
A1 class to EN 13501-1: non-combustible material
The cladding meets the top fire-reaction class and may be installed on a fireplace surround with a suitable adhesive. The substrate temperature must stay below 70 °C.
Mineral pigments that stand up to UV
The colour comes from mineral pigments that hold the beige tone under sunlight. For facades and fences the maker recommends waterproofing the substrate and a drip edge, eave or coping on top so water does not run behind the tiles.
Adhesive and protective spray: what to add to the basket
Outdoor installation calls for a flexible cement adhesive of class C2S1, such as MODULO Colle Extra Flex, at roughly 3.5 kg per pack. One can of MODULO protective spray covers 12 packs. On insulated substrates a reinforcing mesh is required.
Vertical surfaces only
The manufacturer does not recommend use on floors, ceilings or as paving, nor in areas in constant contact with water or steam. The substrate must be flat, dry and free of dust, wallpaper, paint and oil.
